Uninstalled after years of use

I have used the BBC News app for many years now and am now uninstalling it today because it is now forcibly playing video ads before allowing text articles to be read. I never view video, even news video via apps and resent the forcible use of my cell and isp data for the streaming of unauthorized video feeds. I do not mind the in-article ads but I will not permit myself or my device to have my actions and choices redirected without my consent. Forcing me to view a video when I did not wish to view any video but desired text or still images is extremely invasive. I will not reinstall this app nor will I ever use/purchase the products/companies represented in these unsolicited ads.
