Good content. Just wish the ads werent the same trashy ones you get on fluff news sites, like some celebrity just died (they didnt). Know ads are necessary for free content, but solicit sponsors targeted to a classier audience, please.

I always have to go on cellular to get the app to fetch new news

I am an expat from the UK living in Canada. I think the BBC news is the best news web app with up to date stories from around the world. If I hear of a world event happening I always go to the BBC news to check it out. Only thing I dislike is the repetitive advertising videos that come up first when opening a story with a video clip in it

As ever, BBC provides the best breadth & depth of news coverage, without any patently obvious bias. There is a sense of humour in the comprehensive magazine and feature offerings. The app is a smooth interface. Im trying to find something critical to say. Not happening, so far.

Love this app...easy to navigate. I start my day with BBC. At the end of each articles, sometimes in the middle, there are links to another ones about the same topic...amazing

Great news coverage, but too many ads. Same ad over and over, and cant be skipped. Some 30 second ads are for 30 to 45 second news clips. I get that advertising pays the bills, but I find his out of proportion.

It might be a decent app but the presence of many ads integrated into the stories is offputting and degrades the experience. Look elsewhere for untainted news.

This is my "go to" app for global, unbiased news coverage. I would enjoy it even more if: - the videos ran more reliably (they often freeze or wont start at all) - the videos werent prefaced by ads for eg Childrens Video games (25 seconds long, with no option to skip)

Easy to navigate and lots of high quality news I would appreciate if I could look at world service schedule

But I feel you can read more different articles on the web version.

Im living in Japan. But sometimes BBC is faster and reliable source even about in Asian matter. And always good "Benchmark " to any other sources.
