Wastes your time with long ads before every video. The BBC has increased the number and length of ads so much that it has become aggravating to use this application.

I switched from CNN after their unfair coverage of the US election. You guys rock! Much better app!

Being in the U.S.A. I need a wider perspective on the news. BBC provides it for me. Great app.

BBC is the only news station that keep everyone informed about news globally, Africa Europe, Asia and the islands. I chose BBC over CNN

Special feature stories are very informative.

I particularly like the in-depth reporting on international issues that hardly appear in US media.

BBC give me a way to see just how big our stories are in other nations. Unbiased and in-depth reporting. The APP makes it easy!

BBC delivers more news and less political spin. BBC stands for British Broadcasting C... The news is delivered from the British point of view. The delivery is polished, educated and may involve some analysis. BBC NEWS covers a broad range of topics. Provides links to related BBC articles. If a person is at the scene of significant breaking news, it is possible to share your photos and your story. Highly recommend.

I just like the pages. It never gets too excited

Horrible ads get in the way of news stories and are irritatingly repetitious. Latest update seems much worse in this respect. Good content marred by awful use of English and poor editorial control. Id happily pay for this app and not see ads at all.

Articles and lay outs are great. But the pop up VIDEO ads are very annoying. I understand the need for ads, but large pop up videos go too far. This needs to be taken care of.

Such a great newsy app. I rely on this for a broad perspective.

Poor coverage of election issues, more focus on sound bites and managers departing. Its Americanized news, and thats not good.

I have used the BBC News app for many years now and am now uninstalling it today because it is now forcibly playing video ads before allowing text articles to be read. I never view video, even news video via apps and resent the forcible use of my cell and isp data for the streaming of unauthorized video feeds. I do not mind the in-article ads but I will not permit myself or my device to have my actions and choices redirected without my consent. Forcing me to view a video when I did not wish to view any video but desired text or still images is extremely invasive. I will not reinstall this app nor will I ever use/purchase the products/companies represented in these unsolicited ads.

A great source of unbiased news for people who dont have a lot of time to follow everything going on in the world.

The content is great and I like the appearance of the platform. However I use the onboard accessibility features provided through Apple and the app is not entirely compatible with them.

Great app with lots of good content, but it needs AirPlay with Apple TV functionality, Google Chromecast support and iPhone 7 Plus support.

I cant enjoy anything in this app because the combination of pop up, banner and video ads are overwhelming intrusive. I would guess that many of the performance issues and irregular behaviors are caused by the ads trying to load. Ive used this for several years but Im dumping it today. I have better luck with the Apple News app.
